Can i introduce a new leopard gecko to my old 1? ?

The old 1 is around 2-3 years old. (female) and the new one is female hopefully. i had two before but unfortunately one has ped away. due to illness. the old one is thriving and has been checked by a leading vet in shirley near birmingham
