As an actress we get "type cast" need to get a "mysterious" look.?

They say go with what works, so far I get called to audition for like vampire seductive types, spirits/magical powers, psychics etc... other actors say I look " unique, mysterious/secretive eyes etc" one gut said "psychotic" lol would dying my dark brown hair to black help?
