Is it possible to reKindle an old flame?

It has been about 8 months since we broke up and I'm still in love with him. at first I hated him and he seemed as if he did to. he even acted more upset than me. Now he's in my dreams everynight even if I don't think of him at night( I hardly think of him anyway). And he always looks like he wants to tell me something, in reality. I just want to know if it's possible for us to start over. ????????????? I need answers
