Is laporscopic surgery for me??

I was diagnosed with pcos a few yrs ago while I was undergoing fertility treatment to conceive. I had very irregular cycles at the time and the medication I was given didn't seem to help, therefore, I discontinued the treatment. Just today, I started seeing a new Dr. and she performed a pap-smear on me and said everything looked normal. I have an appointment next Friday for a l sonogram so that she can take a look at my ovaries. Good thing is that I've been getting my period every month since October without the need of medication, which, the Dr. said was a major plus. I was reading on Laporscopic surgery and was wondering if that would be something I should consider and if it would be something that would help me conceive?
