97 KX 250 with cracked case.?

I have a 97 kawasaki KX 250 and the chain snapped putting a small crack about an inch long,just enough to let oil a little oil drip out.It's not enough to hurt anything but enough to get on the chain and kick it all over my riding gear.Short of welding or replacing the case what is the easiest fix?
